Questions buyers ask
Before you order.
PP or PET strapping: which should I use?
PP for cartons, bundles and light pallets, where the strap is cut on arrival. PET where the load is heavy or settles in transit, because polyester holds its tension and takes more of it: the manual grade to 1,300 kg and the machine grade to 1,700 kg, as the maker states.
Which tool goes with which strap?
The pneumatic tool takes 13 to 25 mm PP or PET; the battery tool 13 to 16 mm; the manual tensioner and sealer any PP or PET strap closed with a 12 or 15 mm metal seal. The machines take 5 mm PP (fully automatic) or 5 to 15 mm PP (automatic and semi-automatic).
Can the strap carry my company name?
Yes, on PP strap from 9 mm wide. PET strap is not printed. Send the artwork with the quantity and we confirm it on the quotation.
Which colours are available?
PP strap in any colour to order. PET strap is green or black in the manual grade; the machine grade can be made in a colour to order.
Which mains supply do the machines need?
The fully automatic and the semi-automatic machines run on 220 V, the automatic machine on 380 V. Tell us your supply and frequency and we confirm the machine on the quotation.
Can strap, machines and tools ship together?
Yes. Tell us the mix and we confirm what shares a pallet or a container on the quotation.
Can I get samples first?
Yes, where it helps. Tell us the width and grade and we confirm the sample and its cost on the quotation.
Where is it sourced, and which documents come with it?
From reliable makers in Asia. Every shipment comes with the commercial invoice, packing list and bill of lading. Origin papers and other documents your customs ask for are prepared on request.
